Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! Tonight the brackets for March Madness get announced and for 3 days people around the country will be filling out brackets with the hopes of the perfect bracket.
The Chicago Blackhawks are going through their own March Madness with them doing their annual struggle through the end of the regular season before getting to the postseason. The Hawks never push themselves to get to first place in the Central Division, and that lack of push was obvious this week against the St. Louis Blues and Dallas Stars on the road.
This is time of year where we all question what is wrong with the Blackhawks even though we know what the answers are. The Hawks are 69 games into the season so they are a tired bunch that focus on the finish line in June and not the finish line in April, and after the trade deadline it takes a few games for the team to mesh.
The Hawks have a bunch of off days to rest up and do some practicing, it will be another measuring stick game at home on Monday night when the LA Kings come to the United Center. No worries it’s just the Hawks version of March Madness, and here are some morning links to kick off your Sunday morning.
