Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! The Chicago Blackhawks/St. Louis Blues series is all tied up after a controversial win on Friday night.  The Chicago Blackhawks all season long seemed to be on the wrong side of every review, but on Friday night the 2 biggest calls went the Chicago Blackhawks way and in the end the Hawks now head back to Chicago with the series tied 1-1.

The biggest call of course was the offsides call when Kevin Shattenkirk had scored in the middle of the third period, but the goal was taken off the scoreboard and the game was never the same.  Andrew Shaw scored later in the third to give the Hawks the lead they never would surrender.

The key play of the game in my mind had to be the Duncan Keith goal in the final seconds of the second period.  The Chicago Blackhawks looked to be going 5 straight periods without a goal, but Keith scored through a couple of screens to tie up the contest at 1-1 just like the series.

The series is now all tied up which is exactly what you want the series to be at when you are on the road the first two games, but now it’s on the Hawks to hold serve on home ice starting Sunday afternoon.
