The Chicago Blackhawks will try to rebound from their loss last night against the Edmonton Oilers as they travel to Buffalo for their second straight night of action after their bye week.
The Chicago Blackhawks might have lost their game last night, but it’s not all doom and gloom with them mostly out playing the Edmonton Oilers and outshooting the Oilers by a bunch 39-22.
Granted the point of the game is to outscore the opponent, but if the Hawks continue to outshoot their opponents good things will continue to happen like they were happening before the bye week when they had won 5 straight games.
Of course with the Chicago Blackhawks visiting Buffalo, there will be plenty of talk of Patrick Kane visiting his hometown. At least once during the broadcast they will have to show Kane as a youngster up on the glass with his Dad watching the Sabres.
The Hawks get Vinnie Hinostroza back from Rockford today so who knows what the lines will look like tonight, but they will be looking for a rebound which has been the norm for teams coming off their bye week after losing their first game back.
