The Chicago Blackhawks won a crazy game Sunday night, and they get to follow it up tonight against the Vancouver Canucks in another game they should win.
Raise your hand if you knew the Chicago Blackhawks were coming back down 3-1 with less than 10 minutes to go in the third period on Sunday night in what was a real snooze fest for 50 minutes? Right sure you did!
Ok, I’m sure some of you did, but it sure did look like the Hawks were mailing it in until the Jonathan Toews goal stood up to cut the lead to 3-2, and then in a blink of an eye it was 6-3 and the final horn was sounding.
The Chicago Blackhawks last 10 games are a very impressive 8-2 while the Minnesota Wild are in full tail spin going 2-8 which has flip flopped first place, and now the Chicago Blackhawks have a 7 point cushion heading into tonight’s game.
The Canucks are just playing out the string this season with them 16 points out of the last wild card spot in the Western Conference. Part of me misses them being a good franchise, but part of me doesn’t mind seeing them way down in the standings!
