Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! The Chicago Blackhawks host the Vancouver Canucks tonight at the United Center which make me ask, remember when the Canucks were good and a rival?
The Chicago Blackhawks host the Vancouver Canucks who at one time just a few years back were one of the Chicago Blackhawks rivals after facing them 3 straight years in the Stanley Cup playoffs.
The best thing about those series was they were fun to watch, and they had characters in them that made the plot lines thick. Of course, there were a lot of goals scored including a
series clinching hat trick that sent the Hawks to their first Conference Championship Series since 1995!
Roberto Luongo is long gone as is Alexandre Burrows, and now the Canucks are just a bottom feeder in the Pacific Division so the fun rival is gone if you throw out the Sedin Twins.
The Hawks with their furious pace to their game since February 1st have built up a 7 point cushion in the Central Division, and when you talk about furious how about that third period against Colorado scoring 5 goals in 20 minutes including 3 goals in 34 seconds.
