It’s the last game of the regular season for the Chicago Blackhawks tonight, and while the Los Angeles Kings still have one more game left to play, it’s going to be an insignificant game for both teams

After sitting four of the top players against the Ducks on Thursday night, the Chicago Blackhawks will be resting some more players again tonight. We don’t know who specifically yet, but don’t be surprised if Joel Quenneville gives Patrick Kane the night off.

In the game against Anaheim, Coach Q let Jonathan Toews, Marian Hossa, Duncan Keith, and Niklas Hjalmarsson catch up on some much-needed rest. We will see what happens with Ryan Hartman, after he took a nasty slash from Corey Perry on Thursday night.

I hope Q lets Artemi Panarin play tonight so he can attempt to get his incentive bonus. It’s a completely meaningless game for the Blackhawks as a whole, but Panarin’s looking to make that extra dough (and I don’t blame him).

With how hard Tanner Kero has been working recently, I pray that he gets a goal he greatly deserves. On Thursday night against Anaheim, Kero had 5 shots on goal, while also seeing some ice time on both the power-play and penalty kill. He seems to be a really good fit for the moment between Panarin and Kane until Artemi Anisimov comes back.

The last time I predicted a game, I was way off. I hope this time I’m not making a ridiculous prediction, but we’ll see how it goes.

Final Score Prediction

The sort-of Chicago Blackhawks will take it easy, but play their hearts out against the Los Angeles Kings, and will skate to a 3-2 win in their final regular season game.

Three Stars Prediction

#3 – Tanner Kero – 1 Goal

#2 – Artemi Panarin – 1 Goal, 1 Assist

#1 – Tanner Pearson – 2 Goals
