The Chicago Blackhawks are in Nashville tonight for Game #4 of the opening round of the Stanley Cup playoffs with their playoff lives on the line.
The Chicago Blackhawks got an extra day off in the middle of the playoffs first round to decompress, and they question leading up to Game #4 is will the Hawks have the rest of the summer to take time to decompress or will they be traveling back to the United Center for Game #5 with some doubt in the Nashville Predators minds.
The thing is will the Chicago Blackhawks be able to flip the script in Game #4 after being dominated for three straight games. The biggest factor in the Hawks struggles has been Jonathan Toews whose line whomever is on it is getting dominated by the Ryan Johansen line.
Tonight, it looks like Marian Hossa will be back in his old spot with Toews on the top line to stop the puck domination that Johansen and crew have had on the Toews line.
Let’s be honest, the Hawks need to score more which has been tough breaking the Predators defensive juggernaut so far this series. Roman Josi and P.K. Subban have been very good, and they have been way better than the Chicago Blackhawks Big 4.
The thought when the Hawks acquired Johnny Oduya was that the gang was all back together, but it looks like Michal Kempny will be in for #27 which proves what everyone has been saying this series that Oduya doesn’t look like the same player from 2015.
