Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! I think the biggest question I’ve seen asked since the Chicago Blackhawks were eliminated on Thursday night has been who are rooting for now.
First off to answer that question is a tough one for me. After watching the Chicago Blackhawks for 82 games and 4 short playoff games, I’m ready for a break from hockey. I know that playoff hockey is the best hockey to watch all year long, but after the Blackhawks aren’t playing I lose interest pretty quickly.
That being said with this being the 2nd straight year that the Hawks have been eliminated in the first round, I feel like I’m probably ready to watch some playoff hockey this year.
So which team will I be rooting for is a tough one. I can’t possibly root for the Nashville Predators or St. Louis Blues that would just be wrong on so many levels.
If there is a team to root for in the West i guess it’s Edmonton since they are young, fast and fun to watch.

In the East, rooting for Alex Ovechkin to get to the Finals is acceptable, but rooting for the Pittsburgh Penguins and Sidney Crosby is not in my cards.
Who are you rooting for the rest of the way?
