Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! As promised I have arrived in the wonderful world of Wal-mart errr Bentonville Arkansas for my sons wedding, and now we can talk about the Stanley Cup Final.
Let’s be honest, I was hoping for an Ottawa Senators vs Nashville Predators Final with the Penguins losing in overtime of Game #7 of the Conference Finals just like the Hawks did back in 2014. I really thought it was going to happen when the Senators tied it up a second time late in the third period when they could have folded on the road giving up a late third period goal.
Of course as we know the Penguins scored in double overtime which means NBC gets the better of the two matchups of course with Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin among the headliners.
I guess I will root for the Preds solely based on the fact I don’t want the Penguins to repeat since the Hawks weren’t able too, plus I think it will make the Hawks vs Preds rivalry that much better for years to come.

Granted I don’t want either team to win, but this should be a pretty good series with the Preds the underdog with Ryan Johansen out for the rest of the playoffs.
What do you think? Who will you be rooting for in the Final? Here are some morning links to start your weekend.
