Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! The Chicago Blackhawks are on their couches watching the Stanley Cup Final just like all of us which is still a tough pill to swallow!

So while watching the first game of the Stanley Cup Final, it’s the refs that are my real question once again in these playoffs.

The first period really was the problem with the refs, especially when they take the opening goal of the game off the board from P.K. Subban in a play that looked onside.  This is the problem with replay if you ask me.  The play was 20 seconds before the goal, and in super slo-mo the play still looked onside to me so there shouldn’t be an overturn.

Not only did they change the goal, on the Penguins first goal Sidney Crosby clearly interfered with a Nashville Preds player behind the net, but there was no call and the puck eventually found the back of the net.

The Nashville Predators seriously out shot and out played the Pittsburgh Penguins, but like Game #1 in 2015 when the Tampa Lightning outplayed the Chicago Blackhawks, the veteran team found a way to win the game and lead the series after one game.

The one concern for the Predators after this game has to be Pekka Rinne who only saw 12 shots and let 4 of them in.

Game #2 is Wednesday night and it will be fun to see if Nashville can steal a game in Pittsburgh.  In the meantime here are some morning links to start your Tuesday.
