Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! The Stanley Cup Final travels to Nashville for the first time ever, and the question will be can Pekka Rinne and the Preds rebound and win on home ice.
The first two games of the Stanley Cup Final are exactly what numbers people hate to see. If you break down the numbers the Preds dominated the first two games of the series, but when the final horn sounded the Penguins were up 2-0 in the Final.
The major problem is the fact that Pekka Rinne has become very average in the Stanley Cup Final, well to be honest very poor. He was spectacular in the first two rounds of the playoffs not that the Blackhawks made it very tough on him at all in the opening round.
Rinne’s stats have gotten worse in each round of the playoffs after starting out with a ridiculous .976 save percentage against the Hawks.

The Preds can dominate every game in the series, but if Rinne doesn’t find his A Game soon it will be a very quick Final which isn’t fun for anyone especially the Preds fans waiting to smash a Penguins car before every game, and throw catfish on to the ice!
