Chicago Blackhawks Rumors: Patrick Kane To Devils Never Happening
Today latest NHL rumor is that Patrick Kane is being shopped by the Chicago Blackhawks
The Chicago Blackhawks rumor mill is at it again, and this time it’s a real doozy. This is the tweet that has started ample conversations on social media:
ARE YOU KIDDING? This rumor is clearly being started by the Twitterverse. The Blackhawks would be not shopping a top-five player in the NHL for just the first overall pick. The first overall pick is not a once-in-a-generation talent like Connor McDavid, so this will not be happening.
I have not found a source that I trust confirming this rumor. Scott Powers of the Athletic, Mark Lazerus of the Chicago Sun-Times and Jay Zawaski of 670 The Score are not tweeting about possible Kane trade.
Please dismiss this rumor and move on. Kane, Jonathan Toews, Brent Seabrook, Corey Crawford and Marian Hossa are not being traded this offseason. They all have no-movement clauses and have not been asked to waive them. If they did, the three listed Blackhawks reporters would have reported it.
Everyone can relax — Kane is not going anywhere.

The NHL has asked teams not share trades that have been set up with the Vegas Golden Knights until June 21.
