Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! Well, since there isn’t really going on in the hockey world, let’s take a quick break to talk about today’s big event the solar eclipse.

I always liked history not science so the eclipse is a cool thing, but not something I’m obsessed with that’s for sure.

The thing is living in Eastern Tennessee, we are in the path of totality so there are a lot of people in town visiting for today’s event.  At my work there were people visiting from Michigan who made plans two years ago to rent a house in the area.  That seems pretty insane if you ask me!

I feel like there will be a lot of Total Eclipse of the Heart played today so let me get this party started.

Whatever you do, don’t look into the sun unless it’s at 100% totality!

More from Blackhawks News

Anyways, we are only 45 days away from the Chicago Blackhawks and we are even closer to the rookie tournament and training camp.  The only bit of news out there right now is really who is going to sign Will Butcher, and it doesn’t appear to be in the Blackhawks plans to do such a thing.

Enjoy the Eclipse, and this morning’s links!
