Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! The day that we’ve been waiting to check off our sports calendar is almost here! Tomorrow the Chicago Blackhawks open up training camp!

For the second consecutive postseason the Chicago Blackhawks were eliminated in April in the opening round of the playoffs.  And for the second consecutive year, the offseason has seemed like an entire calendar year.  This year for some reason though, it really has dragged especially since the calendar hit July.

The good news is we got a little taste of some hockey this week with the Chicago Blackhawks rookies going up to Traverse City and coming home with some hardware or at least a Championship picture!

More from Blackhawks News

The fun starts tomorrow when training camp begins, and we can put this long summer behind us. If you totally turned off the Chicago Blackhawks after that playoff loss in Mid April which I was at in Bridgestone Arena.  The Hawks no longer have Artemi Panarin, but they brought back Patrick Sharp and Brandon Saad.

Of course if you have read my posts for the past 5 years, you know I’m excited to see what the youth have in stored for training camp especially Alex DeBrincat and Alexandre Fortin.

It all begins tomorrow!! Yay!!!

Here are some morning links to kick off your Thursday.
