Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! I must say I was surprised how many people were out waiting in line to get into the United Center for the Training Camp Festival when I woke up yesterday morning to get ready for work.

It says a lot about how great the Chicago Blackhawks have been for the past decade, and how hard it is to get a ticket to a regular season game that the United Center was basically sold out for basically a training camp scrimmage.

Of course there was a Patrick Kane bobblehead you could pick up if you wanted to get there early which helped with some motivation.

More from Blackhawks News

The Chicago Blackhawks were led in scoring by Patrick, not Kane but our good old buddy Patrick Sharp who scored on a breakaway and had two other assists.

If you missed the action yesterday, here are some of the tweets and pics of the United Center including my favorite seeing Denis Savard and Steve Larmer suit up again.
