Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! The calendar has finally turned to October which means that the regular season is just a few days away!

It’s always exciting when opening night is right around the corner, and even more exciting that the preseason is finally completed!

Last night, the Blackhawks and Bruins played a fairly boring game that ended up 1-0 when Patrick Sharp scored a powerplay goal halfway through the third period. If you missed the goal, it was just like old times with Patrick Kane feeding Sharpie for the only goal of the game.

Now the question is who will be on the final roster that will have to be announced on Tuesday, and who will be placed on waivers, and who is heading to Rockford.

If you follow us on Twitter or have read any of our posts, you know by now that we all are hoping Tomas Jurco gets waived, but the thing is as we have stated earlier, Stan Bowman doesn’t like discarding players that easily.

If it’s me, Vinnie Hinostroza, Alex DeBrincat and John Hayden all start the season in Chicago, so time will tell if me and Stan are on the same page.

Jonathan Toews and Connor Murphy were shaken up in the final preseason tilt but Joel Quenneville said they should be Ok for the season opener on Thursday.
