Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! The Chicago Blackhawks make their first appearance ever in Las Vegas tonight.  Which defensive lineup will Joel Quenneville be gambling with tonight in the City that Never sleeps.

The Chicago Blackhawks biggest dilemma of the season has to be the fact that Coach Q hasn’t settled in on a defensive grouping.  After every game he gets asked why the two defenseman that didn’t play didn’t get to dress, and every time he says the same thing which is he likes all the guys the same, it’s just the fact that they all need to be playing.

I think the obvious question that should be asked is why is Brent Seabrook still playing every night when he’s the one that looks like he should be the odd man out.  I like Seabrook and have for a long time, but maybe it’s time for the coaching staff to give him a night off every once in a while for the youngsters to play more and to keep him fresher for the long season ahead.

More from Blackhawks News

There are times when Seabrook looks fine out there, but there are some very glaring times when he looks slow and unable to get to the areas on the ice that he needs to get to.  Duncan Keith is such a freak of nature, and Seabrook is just not the same kind of player although he’s still someone I want on defense when the Stanley Cup playoffs begin.

The Hawks are in Vegas tonight, do you want to bet on the defensive pairings right now? Here are some morning links to start your Tuesday morning.
