Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! The Chicago Blackhawks traveled to the mile high city, and were quickly and soundly beaten 6-3 in a Central Division matchup.
There are so many places you can start to talk about this loss, but for starters Anton Forsberg wasn’t very good last night. He didn’t have to be superman to stop some of those shots, but they were still beating him. Unfortunately with the offense not firing on all cylinders, you have to be sharp to help the Hawks win and Forsberg wasn’t sharp.
The other thing is the line juggling just isn’t working. I know it’s the age old thing, but if you ask me lines take time to become a well oiled machine. When you are constantly juggling them it may get guys some jump in their skates, but in the end they won’t know 100% what their linemate intends to do during any given sequence.

If you ask me and of course no one from Chicago Blackhawks management is asking me anything, the Chicago Blackhawks need to call up Vinnie Hinostroza. I don’t think he will come up and score buckets of goals, but he has speed that is hard to defend and it will cause disruptions for the other team’s defense. Speed kills and Hinostroza has it, and he looks like he’s learning to harness it in Rockford. Coach Quenneville after the game said that he didn’t think Rockford was the answer, but in my book it is.
The last thing I will say about the loss is that it’s still October. Yes, we all want to go crazy, but no Stanley Cup has ever been won in October. You sure can bury yourself in the standings in October so a win would be nice, but don’t freak out just yet.
