Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! The calendar turns to the month of November, and the biggest question facing the Chicago Blackhawks now is will their play change with the new name on the top of the calendar.

Halloween is over which means we skip right to Christmas decorations and bypass Thanksgiving right?  Well either way the calendar has changed to the month of November so we can say goodbye to October and the 5-5-2 start the Chicago Blackhawks put up last month.

So, what did the Hawks do to change things up yesterday at practice? Piss off the coach is what they did on Halloween.  Sure, it’s October, and it was a holiday, but for a team that currently sits in 6th place in the Central Division you would hope for a bigger sense of urgency during games or practice.

The Hawks need someone to become the net front presence when the Hawks have the puck, and they need to figure something out when they have the man advantage.  Going 1-21 isn’t uncommon for the Hawks during this era, but it’s not going to cut it this season either.

One thing that is certain is that Corey Crawford has come to play this season, and if he stays healthy could finally get the kind of recognition he has deserved for years. Hopefully, the Anton Forsberg game in Colorado is just an aberration and not the norm the rest of the way.
