Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! If you follow Chicago Blackhawks Twitter you know that it was a very dark place early on in the the third period, but thankfully all Blackhawks were able to enjoy the outcome on Saturday night.

Well, Well, Well look at what exciting things that can happen when you put #12 Alex DeBrincat with Jonathan Toews and/or Patrick Kane!

Since training camp we’ve been asking Joel Quenneville to put DeBrincat with Kane, and when desperate times were called upon it finally happened and just like magic good things started happening like pucks going into the back of the net.

DeBrincat has played with talent throughout his career including one Connor McDavid, so in the modern version of hockey he’s learned how to find the soft spots on the ice to score and how to get his shot off very quickly.  So it only makes sense to get him out there with a talented player like Toews and Kane because he has a sniper mentality.   Like I said earlier in the day, It’s a plain waste to have him skating with Lance Bouma or Tommy Wingels.

I must say it was nice to see the Hawks finally wake up and play with a sense of urgency! Plus it was very sweet to see them make a third period comeback which is why I like watching this team play for years now.

Two players in my mind still need to ship up or ship out.  One is Patrick Sharp and the other is Ryan Hartman.  I personally can have a longer leash with Hartman because of his youth, but right now I would much rather have Vinnie Hinostroza in the lineup instead of Sharpie.

One game winning streak, can we get two tonight?  Here are some morning links to start your Sunday morning!
