Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! The Chicago Blackhawks are back on the ice tonight when they travel to the Big Apple to faceoff the New York Rangers who are coming off their Winter Classic victory.
Before we start talking about the Chicago Blackhawks I need to say Happy Birthday to my Mom just in case she decides to read this morning’s post!
The Chicago Blackhawks after the Christmas break are 1-0-1 picking up 3 out of 4 points as they leave Western Canada and travel to the Big Apple. The best part of this is that it will be the final game on their 6 game road trip that started way back in mid December.
The Chicago Blackhawks and New York Rangers never seem to play exciting games and they always seem to meet up when the Hawks are at the end of a long trip. The good thing for the Blackhawks is the Rangers are coming off the Winter Classic which always seems to be a mentally exhausting few days for the players so maybe the Hawks will catch them on the right night.

The Hawks are still battling an inconsistent offense so look for more changes tonight in Joel Quenenville’s lineup. The Hawks can score 10 goals or get shutout so that’s not very exciting if you ask me, because I’d rather be just consistently scoring goals instead of worrying what happens if they don’t score in the first period.
