It’s game night from the World’s most famous arena as the Chicago Blackhawks faceoff against the New York Rangers from Madison Square Garden.

The New York Rangers last played outdoors at Citi Field on New Year’s Day, and now they play the Chicago Blackhawks in the Garden.

The Chicago Blackhawks look to be starting  Jeff Glass for the third time in a row which says a lot of what Joel Quenneville thinks of the 32 year old rookie after just two games.  The Hawks still would rather see Corey Crawford in net so get well soon #50!

It looks like Coach Q is back to tinkering with the lines once again, and can you really blame him? It appears that Richard Panik is back to the pressbox tonight. Panik had a wide open net when the Hawks were trying to tie things up and missed badly. Panik hasn’t scored in 27 games and looks to have totally lost his confidence.

Here are the lines according to Mark Lazerus from Tuesday’s practice.

It’s interesting seeing Vinnie Hinostroza on the top line, but in Coach Q’s presser he said the fact that Brandon Saad scored with Vinnie out there helped him with this decision to see if they could build some chemistry.  One thing is certain, Vinnie will bring some speed to that top line.

Kampf with Sharp and DeBrincat is interesting.  Kampf has been ok in limited action, but he appears to be easy to push off the puck.  I would like to see a little more grit out of the centerman.

My predictions fell short of coming to fruition so it’s back to the drawing board tonight for this Original 6 matchup

These teams always play low scoring games, so I’m predicting a 2-1 Chicago Blackhawks victory with a very late Patrick Kane goal for the win!
