WINNIPEG, MB - DECEMBER 14: Dmitry Kulikov

The Chicago Blackhawks will look to rebound from their tough loss on Wednesday night when they face the first place Winnipeg Jets at the United Center tonight!

The Chicago Blackhawks one consistent thing this season is that they aren’t consistent.  One step forward two steps back seems like the motto this season.

Look no further than the last two games.  First they play one of their most complete games of the season in an 8-2 win in Ottawa on Tuesday night.  Everyone is scoring, Anton Forsberg is making all the big saves and everyone is happy when they wake up and go to work on Wednesday.

Then on Wednesday everything that could go wrong does go wrong including shots that are deflected in off the Blackhawks own sticks and end up in the back of Forsberg.  The Hawks dominating the first period and only able to get one puck past Devan Dubnyk.  What a frustrating game to watch.

More from Blackhawks News

Well, tonight the first place (yes first place I know it sounds weird) Winnipeg Jets come in to town, and the Hawks could really use a big W and finish these last two games before their winter break with 4 points.

The good thing about playing the Winnipeg Jets is that they will play the game very fast so this should be a fun game.

It looks like Anthony Duclair will be in the game tonight and skating on the third line.

Hopefully his elite speed will mesh well with Alex DeBrincat tonight!  Here are the listings for tonight’s game!

Final Score Prediction

The Chicago Blackhawks and Winnipeg Jets play in a fun up and down game with plenty of goals. Unfortunately for the Hawks Jeff Glass doesn’t stop enough of them and although getting to overtime the Hawks lose 5-4 in the extra frame.

Three Stars Predictions
