The Chicago Blackhawks travel to Silicon Valley for their first game since the trade deadline, and what appears to be a very slow march to the end of a playoff less season!
The Chicago Blackhawks still haven’t been eliminated from the playoffs just yet, but it sure seems inevitable!
The lineup tonight really doesn’t make any sense to me when Tomas Jurco is playing on the same line with Patrick Kane!
The one line I am excited to watch is that third line, and getting to see what Matthew Highmore can do with Nick Schmaltz and Alex DeBrincat.
The two players that have shown the most promise this season has been Schmaltz ane DeBrincat so throwing the rookie with them is great if you ask me.

It’s nice to see that Joel Quenneville finally put Vinnie Hinostroza back with Jonathan Toews and Brandon Saad since you know they were great together for five games until Coach Q decided Anthony Duclair would do better.
The game is a much bigger deal for the San Jose Sharks than the Hawks, but you never know what kind of effort you’re going to get after the trade deadline from any team.

The predictions have gone downhill just like the Chicago Blackhawks record, but I will not quit just because I lost my touch. Maybe I will get back to normal now that the trade deadline has passed us!
Final Score Prediction
The Chicago Blackhawks have checked out this season so don’t expect much from the vets, but the young kids will play hard and score a few in the Hawks 5-3 loss on the road in San Jose.
