Chicago Blackhawks Morning Links- Just Get This Over With

Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! The Chicago Blackhawks were blown out on Sunday afternoon which really made me want this season to get over with as soon as possible. 

I guess when you see an ugly baby you should call it ugly right? Well that was pretty ugly yesterday afternoon which pretty much sums up the past couple of months.

With the exception of a couple of teases like the 7-2 win against the Washington Capitals and the 4 goal comeback win Saturday against the LA Kings, it’s been hard watching the Chicago Blackhawks play because it’s just not them.

The defense is really bad and Corey Crawford covered up a lot of holes, and those holes seem to get exposed on a game by game basis now.

Even if the Chicago Blackhawks made the playoffs they wouldn’t have had a shot this year, because the stars are playing so inconsistent this year.  They give us a glimpse here and there, but then they just play a game like Sunday where they are nowhere to be found.

The frustrating thing is the Hawks are out shooting their opponents on a nightly basis, but the shots aren’t high danger shots, and the goalies just aren’t doing their jobs.

It’s really annoying and I just want it to finish even if I will be missing the season come the middle of July!
