The Chicago Blackhawks might not be the best team in the NHL, but there are some bright spots.

Although the Chicago Blackhawks are failing, it doesn’t mean there can’t be a few players that deserve a shoutout for playing some good hockey.

The Blackhawks are leaning heavily on a few players this season. Whether it be Robin Lehner making 35-plus saves a night, or Patrick Kane putting up 4 points a night, the Blackhawks are counting on the best players to show up and they have.

Unfortunately, the depth is not there for Chicago this season. Honestly, when a team struggles, it is a bit hard to find 5 players that are worthy of praise, but that is what we are going to do here.

Let’s praise a few of the Blackhawks that have stepped up this season. Players that despite where the team sits in the standings, they continue to push the team to be better and succeed. These types of players would kill a team that is trying to tank for a draft pick and they would make any team competing for a Stanley Cup that much better.

Feel free to comment what you think of the list in the comments, but just remember there really isn’t that much to pick from for the Chicago Blackhawks right now.
