Patrick Kane has played on a number of great lines across his NHL career, but a few stand out in my opinion as to the best.

The Chicago Blackhawks have never been shy about moving Patrick Kane around in the lineup. They knew he would perform well with anyone so they thought they could move him up and down the lineup, and well it definitely did work.

Today I thought it might be fun to look at a few of his best lines throughout his great NHL career, and who knows, maybe a new line will come up within the next few years that is even better.

I think it is important to note that any line with Patrick Kane on it can be the top line no matter who else is on the ice with Kane. Kane has the skill to make even the worst player that much better, because of this I believe that even though Kane was considered the second line throughout most of the Championship years it was honestly the best.

So without further ado, here is the list of the three best Patrick Kane lines.

2010 – Patrick SharpJonathan Toews – Patrick Kane

Patrick Sharp, Jonathan Toews, and Patrick Kane are three of the best Blackhawks to ever put on the uniform. They helped bring three Championships to the organization and provided a lot of great offense along the way. In 2010, they were just getting started.

Patrick Sharp had a great shot, Patrick Kane was a playmaker able to find someone in the slot no matter where he was on the ice, and Jonathan Toews had the will and defensive abilities to help keep the puck on Kane and Sharp’s stick.

This is a line that I wish we got to see more of during the Blackhawks championship run, because it involved three great faces of the franchise.

2014 – Brandon SaadAndrew Shaw – Patrick Kane

While the Blackhawks did not win the Stanley Cup in 2014, they did come awfully close, especially if you ask our twitter followers.

The Blackhawks found themselves down 3-1 against the Los Angeles Kings, and the line of Saad, Shaw, and Kane was some of the best offenses I saw that series. Kane at the time was constantly driving the play up and around the offensive zone.

I remember getting very frustrated with him as he would drive around the top of the offensive zone with one or two defenders on him. He always seemed to find a way to get past the defenders, and when he did he had two fast and talented forwards there to help put the puck in the net.

While this line did not end up playing more than a year together, I consider it to be one of the most exciting Kane lines ever.

2016 – Artemi PanarinArtem Anisimov – Patrick Kane

I think we all knew this was going to be the number one line on this list. Patrick Kane and Artemi Panarin played some of the best hockey I have ever seen together. If Patrick Kane ever leaves the Blackhawks organization I hope he does it to join Panarin in New York.

The two skilled wingers passed the puck across the ice together for two fun seasons before being split up on draft day in 2017. If you want to relive some of their highlights check out this highlight reel.

What did you think of our list and is their any other Kane line that you think is worth mentioning? Maybe someday the line of Kane, Strome, and DeBrincat will take one of these spots!
