Blackhawks: List of prospects we are highlighting before the draft

The Chicago Blackhawks have a very important draft coming up this offseason, as it could potentially change the direction of the team moving forward. The team has made some blockbuster trades on draft day in the past, but this year I am more focused on who they draft.

Courtesy of Tankathon.com,  the Chicago Blackhawks right now has a 16 percent chance at getting a top-three pick in the draft, and a 5 percent chance at getting the top spot, outside of that they most likely will be having the 9th pick in the NHL draft. This could be a game-changer.

Now because of this, we are going to do a series on a long list of NHL top prospects because you never know where the Blackhawks will fall in the first round. Before we get things going in the next few days we thought it might be a good idea to drop the entire list of prospects to you.

Whoever the Blackhawks bring in with their pick, they have the potential to help get this franchise back on track. The McDonough firing indicates this team will be moving in a new direction, what better way to start than by bringing in a top-level prospect that can help push this team to the next level a few years down the line.
