Today we have another OHL forward who would make a fine addition to the Chicago Blackhawks locker room, let’s jump right in and get to know Jack Quinn!

The Ottawa 67’s have a really good prospect in Jack Quinn currently on their roster. The 18-year-old forward has 52 goals, 37 assists, and 89 points all in just 62 games this season. Weighing 176 pounds and being five foot eleven inches makes Quinn a right-wing ready to step into the NHL.

Quinn has had a great season this past year and because of that a lot of different sources are projecting him to be drafted sometime in the middle of the first round. I think he could potentially fall to the Blackhawks, and if that is the case Quinn would be a great addition to this Blackhawks team.

Quinn could be the right-wing of the future to play with players like Kirby Dach and Alex DeBrincat. The Blackhawks have really talented young prospects for every position right now, well except center. Maybe bringing in Quinn could give the Blackhawks the talent they are going to need at that position years down the line. We are not going to have Patrick Kane at right-wing forever.

I can not wait to see what the Blackhawks do with their draft pick come draft day. Just check out some of Quinn’s highlights, he has the hands, speed, and shot to really be an NHL threat sometime in the future.

I think when we talk about the play of Quinn this past season it is important to note one thing. Marco Rossi and Joseph Garreff both had more points than Quinn this past season with Ottawa. The argument could be made that Quinn benefited from playing with Rossi this past year. I would say it might be similar to how Dylan Strome‘s numbers rose when he played with Connor McDavid for a season, which earned him the third overall draft pick.

Do you think the Blackhawks should draft Jack Quinn with their first-round pick assuming it is around the 12th pick? Who knows when the NHL draft will be, so we will be back soon with another prospect to highlight!
