Day 3 of the Chicago Blackhawks training camp is done. Here’s everything fans need to know going into day 4.

The Chicago Blackhawks finished up day 3 with everyone on the ice besides two players. Calvin de Haan (family emergency) and Corey Crawford (unfit to play) were the two that missed day 3. Crawford has missed all three days, de Haan missed today, the rest of the training camp roster has been there.

de Haan missing doesn’t need to cause too much concern, as a family emergency can mean so many different things. Out of respect for Calvin and his family, I won’t dive deeper into their situation.

Crawford still being ‘unfit to play’ could mean multiple things. As said before, this could be the team bringing him along slowly to prevent any injuries, he could be injured already, or even worse, he could be sick.

For those who don’t know, the Blackhawks will be taking on the St. Louis Blues on July 29th, 2020 at 5:30 PM CT. This could be a preview of a second-round matchup. This would happen if the Blues won the round-robin tournament and the Blackhawks won their series against the Oilers.

Lastly, the team had a scrimmage, with team Black winning 3-0 over team Red. Team Black’s key players were Patrick Kane, Drake Caggiula, and Dylan Strome. Team Red had Jonathan Toews and Connor Murphy, among others.
