The Chicago Blackhawks will face off against the Dallas stars for the second game of their series tonight. This will be a rather interesting matchup for both sides as they were evenly matched in the first game.
The Dallas Stars lost to the Blackhawks in overtime just a few days ago. There were a lot of takeaways from the game, but the main thing was how close it really was. Even though Dallas is just a few months removed from being in the Stanley Cup Final, the ‘Hawks stuck with them.
Chicago is staying in games against some pretty good games, and it is only a matter of time before they dominate a full 60 minutes.
On the Blackhawks side of things watch out for Patrick Kane and Alex DeBrincat. DeBrincat has been on fire so far this season and Kane was just voted the second star of the week. On the other side, it will be interesting to see how Dallas bounces back after losing the first game against Chicago. The Stars were not at their best when Chicago won in OT on Sunday, tonight will be a better judge for where the team is at.
The projected lineup for tonight’s game for the Chicago Blackhawks and Dallas Stars:
No goalies will be included in the lineup projection as we won’t know till later tonight who starts in net, best guess would be Lankinen and Khudobin. Both goalies did not play last game and would be looking to get back in the net.
