The Chicago Blackhawks and Columbus Blue Jackets will face off again tonight for the third time this season. Chicago is riding a nice point streak that they are hoping to extend for another game. Here is everything you need to know.
The Blue Jackets have gone two and two since they last played the ‘Hawks, splitting contests against both the Stars and Hurricanes at home. If the playoffs started today both of these teams would be in the playoffs with Chicago having 16 points and the Jackets having 15 points. Chicago needs these two points tonight.
The Blackhawks will be without Connor Murphy and Andrew Shaw tonight. Losing both of those players is a big hit for the team as Shaw and Murphy have been standout stars this season. In their absence, the team will need someone else to rise to the occasion.
Maybe one of the rookies will be able to help lift the team above the Blue Jackets tonight. While Chicago is without a lot of great players, they are still going to try their best to win! Chicago brings a five-game point streak into tonight’s contest.
