The Blackhawks had one of their highest-scoring games a few nights ago against the Columbus Blue Jackets. While it was fun watching the team score five goals, seeing them still lose in that high scoring of a game is not a recipe for success.
Atkinson, Roslevic, Jenner, Del Zotto, and Stenlund are the players that scored goals on the ‘Hawks last game. While the special teams have been a strength of the Blackhawks in the past, last game it was one of the team’s biggest weaknesses, giving up two power-play goals and a short-handed goal.
Tonight the Blackhawks need to get back on track. After a nice long win streak, it was expected that the Blackhawks would falter at some point, even though it was a back and forth game the ‘Hawks stuck with it until the clock ran out. Now they just need to be more defensively sound.
The Blackhawks lineup could look a little different tonight with some players appearing to be back and ready to go. While the team does need to work Boqvist and Wallmark back into the lineup, I hope the team keeps letting players like Highmore and Kurashev play in the games. Why not give Carl Soderberg or a different older player take a night off and see where someone like Reese Johnson is at with the spot that is opened up?

Other players on the ice include Boqvist, Wallmark, Kalynuk and Reese Johnson, which is interesting. We'll hear from Colliton about the lineup shortly.
