The Chicago Blackhawks get a rematch tonight against the Dallas Stars. This should be a game the team shows up early for as they did not play their best during the last matchup against Dallas.

The Blackhawks are on a long road trip. After tonight’s matchup, the team will head to Florida for games against the Panthers and Lightning, the two top teams in the central division. Trying to head down there on a good note is critical for a team still actually apart of the playoff discussion.

The Stars outplayed the Blackhawks in the first matchup and now is the time to see how the Hawks answer. I would like to see the Hawks play a better game, and I think that starts with some line changes.

The projected lines shown in a second are what the team has been using the past few weeks. Things are starting to run dry for the team though and maybe a few lineup changes can help put this team back on track. While I think DeBrincat and Kane should stay together, everything else should be up for grabs. Maybe even Soderberg with Kane and DeBrincat.

This Blackhawks team is a lot more talented than we all expected heading into the season. They are definitely more talented than what they showed on Tuesday and I hope they answer with a big win tonight!
