The Chicago Blackhawks are back in action tonight against the Dallas Stars. With how things went against the Nashville Predators a few nights ago, this Hawks season could be over with another loss tonight.

The Hawks and Stars have played each other just four times this season, and it has been a series Chicago has run away with so far to being the year. Chicago has taken three out of four games against Dallas and I am sure that is something the Stars want to change. If the Hawks want to get back on track a win against the Stars might be the best way to do it.

While the Hawks recent 3-7-0 record doesn’t seem great, the one thing helping Chicago is the fact that Dallas has not been that much better with a record of 4-3-3. The Hawks are by far in a worse position as Dallas has three games in hand and could even jump Nashville if they win out those games.

Dallas will be looking to bounce back from a 1-0 loss against the Hurricanes a few nights ago on Sunday. Tonight’s matchup is the fifth game of a six-game road trip for the Stars. They have been on the road since playing the Nashville Predators on Tuesday, March 30th, and they won’t be back home until this Saturday when they play the Florida Panthers.

The Stars still have a lot of games against teams like Tampa Bay, Florida, and Carolina, for them to make the playoffs beating the Hawks tonight is going to be huge for their chances.
