The move to sign Gustafsson was definitely interesting for the team. As someone who was a little busy the past week, checking my phone to see Twitter blowing up with the news on Gustafsson was comical to see. Bowman hadn’t brought back any former Hawks yet this offseason, but the late addition of Gustafsson fills that need. Oh, it might also have something to do with the team being out a few other critical defenders in Caleb Jones, Wyatt Kalynuk, and Alec Regula.

• The Dylan Strome Trade Rumors:

The Blackhawks have had one player on the roster that fans have been asking to move all summer long, and that is Dylan Strome. With the news that the team is shopping Strome, this is a big discussion point in the podcast, and what the team could have done differently.
