The Chicago Blackhawks take on the Detroit Red Wings tonight at the United Center as the Hawks look for their first win of the season.

To say the Chicago Blackhawks have had a bad start to the season might be an understatement. The team is 0-4-1 through their first five games, and have given up the first goal every night, and have not played with a lead yet.

This team has had very few positives, the big additions of the offseason have not been that great and it is not that much of a surprise that they are in this position with the record they have. Tonight’s game against the Red Wings is a big test to get back on track.

The Hawks need to show up tonight, there is no doubt about that. Everyone on the roster needs to be better and it starts with the offense producing more goals. Let’s go over the lines for tonight’s game.
