There are plenty of reasons to go catch a Chicago Blackhawks game at the United Center this season. Despite how last season ended, there is excitement heading into the new year with a team that is on the rise. Patrick Kane is back to help push this young group to the next level, with the exciting Bowen Byram leading the charge from the blueline.

If you didn’t have enough incentive to check out your favorite team in person, the Blackhawks released their promotional schedule for the 2026-27 season. Let’s take a look at the three best promotions, shall we?

Bobbleheads Are Back

Last season, the Blackhawks brought back the popular bobblehead giveaways. With it being the Centennial  Celebration, they honored many of the stars of the past like Stan Mikita, Chris Chelios, and Duncan Keith. This season, they will be giving the current stars their due.

Spencer Knight will be the first to be immortalized in bobblehead form, featured in the black jersey. You can get his on Sunday, Nov. 29 when the Blackhawks host the Minnesota Wild. Frank Nazar’s first bobblehead, giving a sliding goal celebration in the white jersey, will be given out on Saturday, Dec. 12 against the Utah Mammoth. It’s hard to believe that there hasn’t been a Connor Bedard bobblehead yet, but that will change on Saturday, Feb. 20 when the Wild return to town. The final giveaway is an Alex Vlasic bobblehead on Sunday, March 14 against the Anaheim Ducks.

All the bobbleheads are limited to the first 8,000 fans, so if you’re going to any of these games, get to the United Center early.

Best Day Ever Returns

Due to the Centennial Celebration, there were no Best Day Ever promotions last season. They will return three times this year. These Sunday afternoon games will be focused on the young hockey fans. These family-themed games are great to help kids become even bigger fans of the Blackhawks and the game of hockey.

You can bring your little ones out for one of these special days on Oct. 25 versus the Florida Panthers, Dec. 6 against Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers, and Feb. 21 when the Blackhawks host the New Jersey Devils.

Final Centennial Celebration

The Blackhawks will wrap up their Centennial Celebration on Tuesday, Nov. 17 against the Toronto Maple Leafs. This game will be played on the 100th anniversary of the team’s first game, a 4-1 victory over the Maple Leafs on Nov. 17, 1926. The game was played at the old Chicago Coliseum and was Toronto’s first game as the Maple Leafs, after previously being known as the St. Patricks. I’d expect some special uniforms for the occasion.

In addition to the history, we’ll get a glimpse into the future as this will be Gavin McKenna’s first game at the United Center. Hopefully Bedard will be back from his shoulder injury by then so we can see the two first-overall picks go head-to-head.
