25. Cameron Schmidt, winger (WHL)

Schmidt impressed this season in the WHL with a stellar breakout campaign that saw him score 40 goals and 78 points in 61 games for the Vancouver Giants. The 5-foot-7 winger is a gifted skater who moves around the ice with ease and possesses a natural goal-scoring ability.

Similar to forwards such as Alex DeBrincat and Logan Stankoven, Schmidt's draft ranking has been affected due to his size, but taking a chance on a boom/bust player like himself could prove to be worth it for an NHL team.

26. Jack Nesbitt, center (OHL)

Jack Nesbitt showed strides in his development this season with 64 points in 65 games for the Windsor Spitfires. He is a physical, 6-foot-4, center who plays a power-forward style of play with an intriguing combination of size and skating ability. He is a smart center who was known for his defensive play, but has progressed nicely as a scorer and shows that he can be a reliable, all-around player at the next level.

27. Sascha Boumedienne, defense (NCAA)

Sascha Boumedienne is a player who showed promise as a freshman in the NCAA this season and could become a high riser if developed correctly going forward. The 6-foot-2 defender is a strong puck-mover who effectively uses his skating ability while in transition. He had some early-season struggles but got better as he got more acclimated to the pace of college hockey. He tallied 13 points in 40 games and looks to improve upon that next season.

28. Cameron Reid, defense (OHL)

Reid is a strong two-way defender who has a great understanding of the game. He saw a large boost in offensive production this season with 54 points in 67 games and showed that there is another level to his game as a power-play contributor. He is a well-rounded player who skates well and is effective when jumping into the play. He may not have the size that other defensemen in this class have, but he has shown that he is more than capable of being among the top defenders in the draft.

29. Bill Zonnon, winger (QMJHL)

This season saw Bill Zonnon rapidly increase his draft stock with an excellent season for the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies in the QMJHL. The young forward plays an up-tempo game with power-forward tendencies as he uses his skating and strong puck skills to find high-danger areas. With 83 points in 64 games, Zonnon sees the ice very well and can be lethal with the puck on his stick. His natural abilities combined with his 6-foot-2 frame will draw lots of interest from NHL teams.

30. Milton Gastrin, center (Sweden J20 Nationell)

Milton Gastrin is an all-around reliable player whose playmaking was at the forefront of his production this season. The young Swede posted 42 points in 40 games for MoDo Hockey J20, while also showing consistency in the defensive zone. His two-way game is what he is known for, as he constantly involves himself in the play. He projects to be a solid NHL player despite not having game-breaking offensive potential.

31. Jack Murtagh, center (US National U18 Team)

Jack Murtaugh is bound to be a favorite of his coaches, no matter what level he plays at. He is a strong forechecking center who is not afraid to go into the corners and get physical to retrieve pucks, which has rewarded him offensively. He tallied 53 points in 56 games this season and is committed to Boston University in the NCAA next season. He is a reliable player who can end up being someone who plays up and down the lineup in the NHL one day.

32. Jakob Ihs-Wozniak, winger (Sweden J20 Nationell)

Rounding out the top-32 prospects in this year's draft is Jakob Ihs-Wozniak, a 6-foot-3 winger with promising offensive capabilities. This season saw the Swedish forward tally 57 points in 40 games for Luleå HF J20, proving that he is ready to take the next step in his development. Ihs-Wozniak is strong on the puck and has a knack for finding high-danger scoring areas. He has a strong shot and also uses his size in the offensive zone, which could make him a solid complementary scorer in the NHL one day.
