It's officially the dog days of summer, and we are getting the hard-hitting stories out to the people! Unfortunately, this could be another long season for the Blackhawks, so we, as fans, need to seek out other reasons to watch this team that are not based on wins and losses.

Every year during the Minnesota high school boys' hockey state tournament, an All-Hockey Hair Team is presented. It has become so well known in the last few years that cameos are made by celebrities and comedians. Players of the All-Hockey Hair Team receive prizes that include hats and some hair and hygiene products.

This gives us the perfect opportunity to list our top 5 Blackhawks that could make our "All Hawkey Hair Team".

To be included in these rankings, the hair needs to exist on top of the head and not be a well-defined beard, which unfortunately eliminates Blackhawks captain Nick Foligno. The shaved head and full beard works for the veteran, but this list is dominated by the youngest of the Blackhawks.

5. Connor Bedard

We have seen Bedard with both short and long hair during his tenure with the Blackhawks. As the face of the franchise, it will be interesting to see if he develops a unique style, as many fans probably recall the Patrick Kane mullet/racing stripes.

4. Sam Rinzel

As one of the Blackhawks' few redheads, Rinzel looks to complete his first full season with the team. He will be getting big minutes with the team this year and that gives us the opportunity to see that red hair flying around on the blue line.

3. Oliver Moore

Moore is another Blackhawk who is looking to make 2025-2026 his first full season in the league. Additionally, he is one of, if not, the fastest skater on the team. It will be fun watching that lettuce flying up and down the ice this coming year.

2. Landon Slaggert

Slaggert has some of the fullest hair on the team for just a 23-year-old. The flow/beard look complements his gritty style of play. He is one of the Blackhawks that I am greatly looking forward to seeing how that hair will evolve once it becomes playoff time.

1. Tyler Bertuzzi

Few words need to be spoken on this beauty. Bertuzzi easily has the longest flow on the team and the "goatee" paired with the missing teeth complete the best look on the Blackhawks. Watching him parked in front of the net on a power play with that hair flowing out of the back of his helmet was a joy to watch in his first year with the team.
