To get you ready for another season, our staff has made their predictions for the 2025-26 Blackhawks season. Be sure you’re sticking with us throughout the year for the best Blackhawks coverage around.

Who Will Lead the Blackhawks in Goals?

Greg Boysen: Connor Bedard (36)
Todd Welter: Connor Bedard (35)
Jim Lynch: Connor Bedard (35)
Jeff Maroon: Connor Bedard (35)
Kyle Bokota: Connor Bedard (34)
Ty Glenn: Frank Nazar & Connor Bedard (30)

Who Will Lead the Blackhawks in Points?

Greg: Connor Bedard (89)
Todd: Connor Bedard (80)
Jim: Connor Bedard (80)
Jeff: Connor Bedard (89)
Kyle: Connor Bedard (80)
Ty: Connor Bedard (82)

How Many Goals & Points Will Frank Nazar Have This Season?

Greg: 27 goals, 60 points
Todd: 24 goals, 54 points
Jim: 20 goals, 60 points
Jeff: 31 goals, 67 points
Kyle: 27 goals, 59 points
Ty: 30 goals, 45 points

Who is the One Player You’re Most Excited to See This Season?

Greg: I’m looking forward to seeing Artyom Levshunov's progress over 82 games.
Todd: Sam Rinzel, can he be the No. 1 defenseman he has already shown flashes of?
Jeff: Spencer Knight. He has had the summer to adapt to being in Chicago. I think he can be a vocal leader with this team, especially based on some of his comments early at training camp.
Jeff: Sam Rinzel
Kyle: Connor Bedard. As easy as it is to pick him, I believe that we are going to see him quiet the doubters this season and continue his growth towards superstardom.
Ty: Frank Nazar

Outside of Teuvo Teravainen & Lukas Reichel, will the Blackhawks have any other Olympians?

Greg: No
Todd: Bedard for Canada if he is scoring well. Nazar, I think Nazar’s overall offensive game and success in other world tournaments earn him a spot on the roster.
Jim: Connor Bedard
Jeff: Connor Bedard
Kyle: Unfortunately, no, Nazar will be the closest for Team USA, but I think there are just too many established American forwards for him to jump into the lineup.
Ty: I think Alex Vlasic and Frank Nazar will make Team USA’s roster. Connor Bedard will make Team Canada’s roster.

What is Your Bold Prediction for the Blackhawks Season?

Greg: Teuvo Teravainen will set a career high in points.
Todd: The Blackhawks won’t finish dead last in the Central Division.
Jim: The Blackhawks will not finish in last place in the Central Division.
Jeff: Blackhawks finish seventh in the Central. If the Nashville Predators have a slow start, then we could see them move their over-30 veterans like Roman Josi, Ryan O'Reilly, Jonathan Marchessault, and Steven Stamkos.
Kyle: Spencer Knight will defy the odds and finish the season above a .910 save percentage.
Ty: The Blackhawks will finish the season under 35 wins. Hoping for some sign of improvement under head coach Jeff Blashill.
