Only five more Sundays before the Chicago Blackhawks officially drop the puck for the start of the 2026-27 campaign! It seems like offseason has been going on forever, but we're getting closer every day. The Blackhawks will help kick off the NHL season when they face the Vegas Golden Knights at 9:30 p.m. Central time on Tuesday, Sept. 29. It will be the third game of a triple-header to officially start the season.
Until then, we'll keep you up to speed here at Blackhawk Up on all the latest news and happenings as we ramp up for training camp in mid-September. Let's dive into our latest content from yesterday.

The Countdown Continues
Countdowns are always fun! You may have seen I've made a point on X to have a countdown of days until Blackhawks' opening night. What's even more fun is to highlight a current or past player who wears the corresponding number on their jersey.
