Blackhawks release training camp roster and schedule

The offseason will officially come to an end when the Chicago Blackhawks hit the ice on Thursday morning!

The offseason officially ends on Thursday when the Chicago Blackhawks open training camp. There is no shortage of storylines heading into camp, with Jeff Blashill and a new coaching staff at the helm. They will need to make some tough roster decisions with a slew of talented young players pushing to grab a spot on the opening night roster.

The Blackhawks have invited 53 players to camp; 30 forwards, 17 defensemen, and six goaltenders.

Forwards

Henry and Brossoit are noted as injured on the official roster, while Kaiser remains without a contract. Grzelcyk, who is coming in on a professional tryout contract (PTO), will wear No. 48.
