Blackhawks bringing talented squad to Tom Kurvers Prospect Showcase

Hockey is almost here! The Chicago Blackhawks released their roster for this weekend's Tom Kurvers Prospect Showcase with the St. Louis Blues and Minnesota Wild.

Hockey is almost here! The Chicago Blackhawks are participating in the Tom Kurvers Prospect Showcase again with the Minnesota Wild and St. Louis Blues. They were supposed to host the event this season, but with the ongoing expansion of Fifth Third Arena taking place, they elected to skip this year, and the Wild stepped up to host. Next year’s showcase will likely be in the brand-new Championship Arena.

The Blackhawks have released their roster for the two games at TRIA Rink in St. Paul. A total of 23 players will head north: 13 forwards, eight defensemen, and two goaltenders.

Forwards

Nathan Behm, Ryan Gagnier, Ryan Greene, Parker Holmes, Harrison Israels, Nick Lardis, Martin Misiak, Oliver Moore, Jack Pridham, Owen Robinson, AJ Spellacy, Aidan Thomson, Marek Vanacker

Defensemen

Jeremie Bucheler, Ashon Cumby, Taige Harding, Ty Henry, Dmitry Kuzmin, Artyom Levshunov, Ryan Mast, Sam Rinzel

Goaltenders

Stanislav Berezhnoy, Owen Flores

The Rockford IceHogs coaching staff, including new head coach Jared Nightengale, will be behind the bench for the showcase. They will hold practices at the Fifth Third Arena on Wednesday (11 am), Thursday (10 am), Friday (10 am), and Saturday (9:10 am). All practices are open to the public and free to attend.

The Blackhawks will face the Blues at 6 pm on Saturday, and the Wild at 3 pm on Sunday. Both games will be streamed live on the Blackhawks website and app.
