The Chicago Blackhawks return home from their four-game road trip against the Seattle Kraken Tuesday.

Last Time Out...

The Blackhawks concluded their four-game road trip with a 6-2 loss to the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday. Alex Vlasic and Wyatt Kaiser scored for the Blackhawks, while Arvid Soderblom made nine saves.

Despite the loss, Artyom Levshunov had a game to remember. He recorded his first NHL point with an assist on Kaiser's goal. He also logged 22:39 of ice time, registered two shots on goal, and blocked four shots while making an impact on the power play.

Connor Bedard had a rough night in his second game in his hometown of Vancouver, earning his second straight 10-minute game misconduct. He finished with a -2 rating, logged 18:36 of ice time, two shots on goal, and one hit.

The loss dropped the Blackhawks to 20-38-9 of the season.

This is the last meeting of the season between the Kraken and Blackhawks.

The home teams have won each of the first two games by a final score of 3-1. Seattle won at Climate Pledge Arena on Nov. 14 while Chicago responded with a victory at the United Center on Dec. 19. In that game, Noah Allan scored his first career goal against the Kraken.

Ryan Donato leads the Blackhawks with 23 goals this season. Teuvo Teravainen is first in assists with 37, and is tied with Connor Bedard (17 goals, 35 assists) for first in points with 52 points (15 goals, 37 assists) in 67 games played.

The Other Squad...

The Kraken start a four-game road trip in Chicago. They'll play the Minnesota Wild on Wednesday for a back-to-back set before heading to Alberta to play the Edmonton Oilers Saturday.

Seattle finished their three-game homestand 2-0-1 with a 3-2 overtime loss to the Winnipeg Jets Sunday.

Eeli Tolvanen leads the Kraken in goals (21), while Chandler Stephenson is first in assists (36) and points (47).

3 Key Takeaways from the Game:

1. Regroup: Chicago is coming off of a 0-3-1 road trip. They'll need a stronger effort at home, where they will play six of their seven next games in the final stretch of March.

2. Bedard Needs to Stay Focused: This season has been a struggle for Connor Bedard. He has been frustrated all year not just with the team but with the officials. With only one month left in the season, Bedard will need to put the distractions aside, and play his game.

3. Defend, Defend, Defend: The Blackawks have struggled defensively all season. Limiting Seattle's scoring chances and tightening up in their own zone will be crucial to come out with the win.

Puck drop is set for 7:30 p.m. CST on CHSN and ESPN+.
