The NHL Draft is getting closer and closer, and before we know it, Kyle Davidson and Co. will be gearing up to make selections at No. 2 and No. 18 overall in the Las Vegas Sphere on June 28.

In preparation for the draft, the 2024 NHL Draft Scouting Combine took place in Buffalo over the weekend, where Davidson and the Blackhawks were able to get a closer look at some of their prospects of interest.

One of the prospects in Buffalo who the Blackhawks are looking at the second overall pick is Michigan State defenseman Artyom Levshunov, who got to display his abilities through a variety of fitness tests, and gave media and scouts a look at his personality off the ice. It's safe to say that Levshunov was one of the winners of the combine and the main reason for that is how he handled talking to the media by being himself and letting his personality shine through.

Levshunov and the Blackhawks going out to dinner during the week isn't surprising, but this is the first time their interest in him specifically has gone public. The dinner, however, wasn't the first time the pair have had a chance to talk.
