Yes, it's a matchup of a 51 win team versus a 51 loss team.... Seriously though, who cares at this point. The Blackhawks are all but locked in to the 31st position at this point with 3 games left on the docket and all sorts of player news has been rolling in in the past week:

Frank Nazar, after his Michigan Wolverines lost in the Frozen Four, signed his ELC with the Chicago Blackhawks:

The 13th pick in the 2022 NHL draft will likely suit up for the first time as a member of the Blackhawks. Nazar will wear #91 as he did in college (confirmed by Ben Pope of the Suntimes) as it seems fate intervened when Kyle Davidson traded Anthony Beauvillier at this year's deadline (Beauvillier wore #91 for the Hawks prior to the transaction) making the number available.

Sunday afternoon will also mark the 2nd game back for veteran defenseman Connor Murphy whom played for the first time since January 13th when he skated just over 19 miniutes in a loss to Nashville on Friday evening.

The Hurricanes come in to the United Center as one of the leagues best teams. In their 2nd to last game today Carolina still has a chance at the President's Trophy as well as home ice advantage throughout the playoffs. With 109 points and a game in hand (on NYR / DAL) this is a very real scenario so the Blackhawks should not expect the Cane's players to take this matchup lightly.

Will the Blackhawks, with nothing to lose, play spoiler in their final home game of the season or will today's game go as expected when a team with 51 losses goes against a team with 51 wins? Please post your predictions in the comments section.
