Would Patrick Kane Accept a Deal to the Boston Bruins?

With only 18 days now until the March 3rd trade deadline, we should soon get some clarity on what Patrick Kane wants to do. His agent and all involved seem to be looking at a 10 days before the deadline window.

Would the Boston Bruins be interested? At the present moment they have the most points in the league (83 points in 52 games). However they have just gone through their worse 5 game stretch of the season at 1-3-1. That's just 3 points in 5 games for the Bruins.

Patrick Kane isn't 100% from both an eye test and what the advanced metrics are saying. Could it just be the lack of help from a depleted roster? Perhaps. Maybe this would be a perfect fit for Kane, whom would surely be just a rental, and the Bruins to see if some magic could happen.

It would certainly look strange to see Kane in a Boston sweater (jersey) as the Blackhawks won their 2013 Stanley Cup (Bolland, Goooaaaaalllll!!!!!) against the Bruins, though it may also be too good of a fit to pass on for both sides.

There were some reports about a Fabian Lysell and 1st round pick package earlier, but to be honest I find it hard to believe they would give up both of those assets for Patrick Kane. Perhaps 1 of those assets and a sweetner would be the ideal combination to pry Kane away from both his no movement clause and the only NHL franchise he has ever known?
