4. Chicago could take a chance on a former 40 goal scorer.

Finishing up a three year $6.65 million annual contract, Brock Boeser is set hit free agency after playing his entire career in Vancouver up to this point.

Boeser registered 50 points last season, including 25 goals. it was a step back after the 2023-24 season where Boeser registered 40 goals and 73 points. At just 28 years old, Boeser has a lot of hockey ahead of him, and there is no reason to doubt he can get back to the 40 goal mark.

Boeser is a winger that could shine alongside Bedard or Frank Nazar. Davidson and the Hawks need to add some big names to the top six, and Boeser could be the perfect fit.
