Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! The Chicago Blackhawks and 15 other teams around the NHL kick off the 2nd season this week when the 2017 Stanley Cup Playoff Marathon kicks off!

The Chicago Blackhawks are beginning a journey that many of us hopes end with their 4th Stanley Cup Championship in this golden era of Blackhawks hockey.

The Hawks are the #1 seed in the Western Conference as the best tournament kicks off, and have a shot to do things only a few franchises have done in a decade.

What has made this season fun especially in the 2nd half of the year was how much the kids grew up, and how they became vital parts of the team instead of players just skating around collecting minutes.

Now the serious test kicks off for the Chicago Blackhawks youngster, and it will be interesting on how will they react when the stage gets bigger and the lights get brighter.

March Madness is a fun three week tournament, but the Stanley Cup playoffs is a marathon that covers three months. There will be ups and downs and every loss feels like the worst loss ever while every win is the greatest thing ever, and hopefully sometime in June Gary Bettman will be handing Jonathan Toews the Cup to hoist!

Today is just the Monday of the first week of the playoffs, who’s excited?
